With more than 300 installed systems, on-site service visits in 33 countries, and well over 100,000 service hours under our belt, it isn’t just our customers who benefit from our decades of accumulated knowledge. The MEDSER ACADEMY offers first-class training seminars, individually tailored to the requirements of field service technicians, medical technicians and users in the area of radiology as well as in the health sector.
Theoretical knowledge is not only a valuable asset but a basic requirement of efficient and successful work. However, there are many aspects of CT scanner repair and maintenance that can’t be learned from books, which is why the practical application of theoretical knowledge forms an essential and integral part of our courses. Our participants consolidate their knowledge by putting theory straight into practice on fully functional equipment in the seminar room. In addition, there are on average around ten CT systems installed for practice use in our showroom, ranging from single to 128-slice scanners.
What are the fundamental technical principles and how are they applied to modern CT scanners? This course gives learners a basic knowledge of how a CT scanner works.
The course is recommended as an introduction for all technicians who are interested in our advanced courses on the Siemens® Emotion, Sensation or Definition series, especially those who have little or no experience in CT technology.
In only 10 days, course participants learn the theoretical principles and apply them in practical situations in our training centre.
These courses show participants how to use, maintain, repair and perform troubleshooting on the relevant Siemens® CT scanner series.
Participants are required to have a thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of CT technology.
